We're located in Simi Valley, just northwest of Los Angeles, CA, so a lot of the runs we enjoy aren't too far from home. The Hammers (Clawhammer [easiest], JackHammer and Sledgehammer-[toughest]) in Johnson Valley are among some of our favorites. Plenty of rocks to climb on, and over, and to scrape against.
What are your favorite southwest USA runs? We always love to hear about your favorite trails.

I love Cleghorn because it's a wonderful training trail, and we frequently use it for our New Member Orientation runs. I love Nightmare Gulch for the uniqueness of it's geography. Tower Arch trail in Moab/Arches National Park is fun because it's so scenic and diverse, with a beautiful destination at the end. Fins-N-Things in Moab is such an iconic trail, like a rollercoaster for 4x4's. Arch Canyon in southern Utah is amazing. Dozens of water crossings in a narrow canyon with over a hundred Ansazi cliff dwelling ruins tucked here and there.
nice articles. Keep writing......
